Cancellation Policy

Acorn Business Solutions offer an extensive range of services, designed to help your business grow. We want you to stay with us for the professional services we offer, the great customer service we provide and the market leading prices available. Not because of some difficult to understand cancellation policies or long notice periods.

When you do need to cancel, you can rest assured that your cancellation will be handled in strict compliance with the following policies.

 

Office / Address Share Cancellation

14 Day Money Back Guarantee

Our address services include a 14 day money back guarantee as standard. Providing our address has not been published publicly if you change your mind within 14 days simply let us know for a pro rated refund. Unfortunately once our address has been publish for example on online directories, adverts, websites and government databases the 14 days money back guarantee no longer applies

How to cancel

  • Customers can cancel their services at any time by requesting to cancel in writing (by email is fine) no less than 7 days before the renewal date. This gives both Acorn Business Solutions and the customer ample time to stop any recurring payments such as PayPal subscriptions, direct debits etc.
  • When submitting a cancellation request the customer will ensure they have removed our address from websites, directories, adverts etc.
  • Upon receipt of the written cancellation request, Acorn Business Solutions will ensure our address is no longer publicly available before confirming safe receipt of the request and confirm the date on which your service will end (this will be your planned renewal date)
  • On the date confirmed by Acorn Business Solutions, your service will end. We will continue to provide your service as normal up to that date. Any mail received after the end of the service or not collected (where applicable) will be returned to sender.

Late Cancellation

  • At the sole discretion of Acorn Business Solutions, we may accept cancellation requests after the 7-day notice period has passed providing there is enough time to stop any recurring payments such as cancelling direct debits before the instruction has been sent to the bank. The decision to accept such late cancellations is at the sole discretion of Acorn Business Solutions

Refunds

  • In line with our customer agreement partial refunds are not issued for early termination. When cancelling a service, it will continue (whether the customer uses the service or not) until the next renewal date before it ends. Any remaining mail deposit will be refunded using the same method as payment (PayPal payments refunded to PayPal, Card Payments refunded to the same card) less any amounts owing to Acorn Business Solutions

How to cancel

  • When submitting a cancellation request the customer will ensure they have removed our address from the Companies House database first.
  • Upon receipt of the written cancellation request, Acorn Business Solutions will ensure our address is no longer in use on the Companies House database, before confirming receipt of your request and the date on which your service will end.
    • The registered office service cannot be cancelled whilst our address is still in use on the Companies House database. The only exception is where the company is already completely Dissolved.
  • On the date confirmed by Acorn Business Solutions, your service will end. We will continue to provide your service as normal up to that date. Any mail received after the end of the service or not collected (where applicable) will be returned to sender.

Refunding Remaining Balance of your Mail Deposit

Mail Deposit Refund

Once a service is cancelled in accordance with the relevant cancellation policy, any remaining mail deposit account will be refunded inline with this policy

Before issuing a refund

  • The appropriate fee for the final forwarding of mail already in our possession will be deducted from your balance.
  • Any outstanding monies due to us will be deducted from the mail deposit account.

Issuing a refund

Once the applicable deductions outlined above have been made, any remaining balance will be refunded. This refund will be;

  • Issued on the last business day of the month in which your service ended.
  • For the total remaining balance of our mail deposit
  • Refunded back to the original source of the funds (PayPal will be refunded to the same PayPal account, Credit/Debit Card will be refunded to the same credit/debit card. Cash or Bank Direct Deposit will be refunded by bank transfer or cheque mailed to your last known address.

Once a refund has been issued, you will be notified via email.


Important Notice Regarding Original Payment Method Refunds
For the prevention of money laundering  and potential issues with Charge backs and Disputes, we cannot make any exceptions when making a refund. We will in all cases issue refunds back to the original source of the funds.
