Can I do this myself
Yes of course. If you’d prefer to complete the confirmation statement yourself, you can submit this to companies house yourself and pay the Companies House filing fee.
When can I start trading?
This is completely up to you. As soon as you’re ready to start trading simply let us know in writing (via email is fine). Once your company has traded we will not be able to prepare and submit your accounts and confirmation statement, we will however continue to provide our registered office and directors service address until the end of the current term,
Should you wish to continue using our address after the current term the normal Registered Office and Directors Service Address prices will be payable.
How do I know if my company is dormant?
A company is considered dormant if it has never traded or not conducted any significant transactions during the year. A transaction would be classed as significant if the company has made any sales, received rental income, income from investments or made any purchases.
What information do I need to provide?
Ideally when signing up to the service, you’ll be able to provide the company name, registration number, HMRC UTR and companies house web filing code.
If you don’t have these to hand we will need to submit paperwork by post which will take longer to setup the service.
Please note we will also require proof of identity and address.
Are there any more fees?
No. The dormant company management service is offered on a single fixed annual fee. Even the companies house filing fees are included, so there is nothing more to pay.
How soon can this service be setup?
With all the correct information, company name, registration number, UTR and Web Filing code, this service can be setup and active within 24-hours. Unfortunately if you do not have all this information we will need to request it by mail which will take considerably longer. The service will not start and we cannot submit any accounts, confirmation statement etc until we have this information.
My filings are late or due now what should I do?
Again this will depend on the information you have, if you have the company name, registration number, web filing code and UTR to hand we can get the service active within just 1 business day and get your documents filed. Any fines or penalties for missing the deadline would be your responsibility thou.
