The companies act required all company officers to have an address where they can be contacted. This is known as both the directors service address and official correspondence address. The address you choose to use will be public information and will be freely available online.

Certainly, you can use your home address as your service address (also known as official correspondence address) if you wish and don’t mind this becoming public information.

Before choosing to use your home address you should be aware that your home address will be publicly available online. You should also carefully check your lease, tenancy agreement or mortgage agreement as there are often clauses which prohibit the use of your home for business purposes. It may also be worth letting your insurance company know too.

The Directors Service Address service will allow you to use one of our locations as the service address or official correspondence address for all the officers of your limited company.

We will accept deliveries of all your official mail from the organisations listed below at your registered office and deliver these to you the same day we receive them as a PDF attachment directly to your email inbox

As a stand alone service your mail will generally be scanned over to you the same day we receive it (no more waiting for the postman to arrive)

If you have another service with us we will follow the instructions on your other service for example if you have a mailbox we will put your mail in your mailbox and send you an email to let you know. If you have a mail forwarding service we will forward your mail by post.

If however you’d prefer your mail to be forwarded onto you instead of scan to email this can be arranged, the only difference is you’d be responsible for the additional mail charges.

This service is to be used exclusively as the service address for officers of your limited company as such letters from customers and/or suppliers etc are not included in this service.
